About
Meet Olivia
My name is Olivia.
I created French Creative Academy for adult learners
who understand French —
but don’t yet feel at ease using it.
Over the years, I kept meeting the same profile:
Intelligent adults.
Curious.
Capable.
Able to read French articles.
Able to follow conversations.
But when it was time to speak —
They hesitated.
They simplified their thoughts.
They translated in their heads.
They felt blocked.
Not because they lacked grammar.
Because they lacked the right conditions to practise.
A different vision of learning French
Most language programs focus on information.
More rules.
More exercises.
More content.
But fluency doesn’t grow from information.
It grows from regular, structured use.
That is the foundation of French Creative Academy.
Not intensity.
Not pressure.
Not performance.
Rhythm.
Why writing is central
Writing slows thinking down.
It allows you to:
organise ideas,
activate vocabulary,
build sentence patterns,
develop nuance.
When you then read your writing aloud,
speaking becomes more natural.
Less forced.
Less improvised.
More yours.
This is why daily writing sits at the core of my method.
My background
I have worked for many years with adults who believed
they were “bad at expressing themselves.”
In reality, they simply needed:
clarity,
structure,
and a safe space to practise.
I apply that same approach to language learning.
Structured — but never rigid.
Demanding — but never harsh.
Serious — but never intimidating.
What I believe
I believe:
Language is not a performance.
It is a relationship.
You don’t need to prove your level.
You need consistent contact.
You don’t need to study harder.
You need to practise differently.
Fluency is not built in bursts.
It is built in rhythm./
French Creative Academy today
Inside the Academy, learners:
write regularly,
speak from what they’ve written,
explore culture and nuance,
develop confidence gradually.
Not by rushing.
Not by memorising.
By showing up.
Week after week.
A calm space for serious learners
French Creative Academy is not an app.
Not a shortcut.
Not entertainment.
It is a practice space
for adults who want depth.
If you’re looking for:
quick hacks,
gamified streaks,
or exam cramming,
this is probably not the right place.
If you want:
clarity,
structure,
real expression,
you belong here.
You already understand French.
Now it’s time to use it.
If you have a question about the program, or want to check whether it’s the right fit for you,
you can write to me here.
Thank you for your understanding.
