French Writing Studio

You understand French. But when you try to write something real, your words disappear.

A gentle weekly writing space where you send me a short text in French, and I personally reply with corrections, natural phrasing, and encouragement.

One short text per week. Personal feedback, gentle language posts, and one monthly live session. Cancel anytime.

Your French is not missing.

It is already there. It just needs a calm place to become active, personal, and yours.

This is for the French you cannot quite access yet.

You can read French. You can follow podcasts and conversations. But the moment you want to write something personal, subtle, or true, the sentence becomes smaller than the thought.

01

No performance

You do not need to impress anyone here. You write a short text, at your level, in your rhythm.

02

No school feeling

This is not an intensive course, a grammar bootcamp, or another programme to fall behind on.

03

Real human feedback

I read what you write and respond to the person behind the French, not just the mistakes.

How it works

A small weekly ritual, designed to make French feel close again.

The studio is intentionally simple. You need one quiet moment with your French, and someone kind on the other side.

1. You receive a writing invitation

Each week, I send a short, open prompt to help you write about real life, memories, culture, books, places, feelings, and small details.

2. You write 150 to 250 words

Enough to practise meaningfully. Not so much that it becomes a project. You can write simply, imperfectly, honestly.

3. I reply with personal feedback

You receive corrections, more natural French phrasing, and gentle guidance so your sentence gets closer to what you really wanted to say.

The reason this works

Not red marks. A real person helping your French sound more like you.

The correction is not only about grammar. It is about nuance, rhythm, confidence, and the moment where translated English starts becoming natural French.

Your text

Je suis allee a la bibliotheque parce que je voulais prendre un moment pour moi. C'etait calme, et j'ai senti que mon francais revenait dans ma tete.

My feedback

More natural: “prendre un moment pour moi” is understandable. Here, “m'accorder un moment” sounds softer and more elegant.
Nuance: Instead of “revenait dans ma tete,” you could write “me revenait peu a peu.”
Your revised sentence: “Je me suis accordé un moment, et j'ai senti que mon français me revenait peu à peu.”

What is included

Everything supports the same goal: making French easier to use.

There is more inside the studio when you want to go deeper, but the heart of the membership stays simple: write, receive feedback, keep going.

Weekly writing prompt

A short invitation to write in French, with light language support to help you begin.

Personal feedback

I read your text and reply with corrections, natural phrasing, and clear explanations.

Le mot du jour

Three times a week, you receive one useful French word with examples, nuance, and a small invitation to use it.

Frequent error corrections

Each Wednesday, we turn one anonymous member mistake into a lesson. Each Friday, we look at a common error intermediate learners often make.

Monthly live session

Once a month, we meet on video for an informal writing session, questions, and a warmer sense of connection.

Private writing space

A calm community for learners who love French and want a more personal way to practise.

Questions

For the thoughtful, shy, busy, sensitive French learner.

What level do I need?

Intermediate is ideal. You should be able to write simple sentences on your own, even if they feel imperfect.

What if I am shy?

That is exactly why the studio is gentle. You are not here to perform. You are here to practise being understood in French.

How much time does it take?

One short weekly text is enough. The other posts and resources are there to support you, not to become another obligation.

Is this a grammar course?

No. Grammar appears when it helps your expression. The main practice is writing, receiving feedback, and building a natural French voice.

Your French is closer than it feels

Come write one small, real thing in French. I will read it.

Not more pressure. Not more content. A quiet weekly practice, and a real person helping your French become yours.
